Iwag Festival

When: December 16 to January 3 Where: Pototan, Iloilo, Philippines “Iwag” a term which means shine. A festival of lights which made Pototan the Christmas Capital of Western Visayas.

Hinirugyaw Festival

When: September 1 to 10 Where: Cabatuan, Iloilo, Philippines A street-dancing festivity by agencies and non-governmental organizations om the Municipality of Cabatuan. It is a 10-day celebration of the Feast of San Nicolas de Tolentino.

Paghukom

When: March 25 Where: Calinog, Iloilo, Philippines Usually done during Holy week. A religious dramatization of the sufferings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

When: January 19 Where: Janiuay, Iloilo, Philippines “Sadsad” is a native word which means dance and “Kalye” means streets. It is a street-dancing affair which expresses or presents the beliefs, views, visions and aspirations of the Janiuaynons base on traditions, historical experiences, and culture.

Binanog Festival

When: January 10 to 16 Where: Lambunao, Iloilo, Philippines Binanog means a pool of dance by the people in hinterland of Lambunao.
